Courtesy bus not running Tuesday, 10th July

The minibus has been booked in for a MOT next Tuesday, 10 July, which will affect the morning and afternoon service.

On Tuesday, the bus will not operate after the 8:40am drop off to the station.  There will be no shopping run during the day.  However, the expectation is that the bus will be back in action ready for 4pm for the evening bus runs.

Report of 2018 Annual General Meeting

This year's Residents’ Association AGM was well attended by residents representing over 50 flats and houses.  The outgoing Chairperson, Debbie Naylor, gave a full report on the RA’s activities over the past year and highlighted some notable successes on planning and estate management issues, whilst acknowledging that Comer can be difficult to work with and that much more needs to be done.

 A new Committee for 2018-19 was elected and comprises:

The new Committee will be meeting next week, following which there will be a newsletter giving the relevant contact details for any issues that members want to raise.

Following the RA meeting there was an opportunity for residents to hear from Tony and Jane Lesser and Lewis Selt about the progress being made by the Planning Action Group.

JFK Back Door

Residents should note that for security reasons the back door entrance into JFK will in future be locked when the sales office is closed.
